Question on Fee Waivers

Hey guys... I'm still learning the ins and outs of all of this stuff, so I'm hoping someone might be able to fill me in on a question about fee waivers.

I took the December LSAT, so I have started receiving fee waivers via email to apply for Fall 2011. However, I am not applying until next cycle. I will be retaking the LSAT in June, and I'm wondering if fee waivers given for this cycle will be repeated for next cycle? In other words, will the same schools potentially give me waivers again for next cycle based on my December 2010 score or my June 2011 score? Or, if I don't apply this cycle do I just lose out?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My guess (not based on any sources, just my thoughts) is that any school that offered you a fee waiver now will continue to offer it to you. If your score goes up and a school that had offered it to you because you looked competitive and now you are way overqualified, they could either offer you aid to entice you or ding you for YP if they think you are a sure thing at schools ranked higher.

Some do, and some don't renew merit-based fee waivers. Even so, if a certain school doesn't renew yours, you can always ask them for another fee waiver anyway.

Thanks to both of you!
