Addendum for LSAT score(Draft, how is it)

Post by jd20132013 » Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:31 pm

How is this as an addendum

This addendum is intended to address the increase in my LSAT score from 161 on the October administration to 170 on the December administration. In October, I ate something which disagreed with me the night before, and as a result was not able to sleep as well as usual, and was not feeling completely well on the day of the test. In December I avoided this and was able to get a good night's sleep and perform to my potential.
Thanks,

Also, how does one best send in an addendum like this to schools to which one has already applied?

Should I just attach it in an email to their admissions?

Reduce it to: I was unable to sleep the night before the October, 2010 LSAT exam which is reflected in my score of 161. My December, 2010 LSAT score of 170 occurred after a full night's rest.

What do you think is better? Mentioning that I felt unwell or that I couldn't sleep?

They're both true but those of you who have responded seem to think one is preferable over the other.
I was leaning towards the feeling ill part because I was kind of thinking that they might think that the fact that I couldn't sleep is a knock on my preparedness. Sounds a little silly but, yeah.

I think saying "due to illness" is better than you couldn't sleep. I don't know why but it just seems like a better excuse (for lack of a better word).
