Asking for Scholly Money With New LSAT

Post by SilverE2 » Thu Jan 06, 2011 6:53 pm

Hey guys, I just got my new LSAT score, and I wanted to ask schools for scholarship money that had accepted me before but not given me any. What's the proper way to do this?

I'm gonna go ahead and bump this up one more time in hopes of a response and then let it go. Please, anyone who has ever been through this. Thank you! :)

Contact admissions, tell them your new LSAT score & ask if you are now eligible for merit scholarships.

It seems nobody knows the answer, so my suggestion would be to call one of the schools and ask. Admin staff are usually friendly enough and there's no need to reveal your name.

You guys don't think it would come off as presumptuous, like "I deserve a scholarship with my new lsat score" or something?

Ask if they would consider your new LSAT score when they are determining your financial aid package.
