Should I transfer?

I'm currently lower-tier private school with a 3.9 GPA and solid EC's and will be entering the first semester of my junior year this spring. The idea to see if I can transfer to a stronger undergrad has crossed my mind a few times. Do you all think it's worth it to see if I can transfer to a Cornell or NYU type school. I believe when you transfer your GPA resets and I would risk not doing as well at those schools but would have a stronger undergrad degree. Does this matter at all for law schools or is it better/safer to stay where I'm at? I'm aiming to get into a T14 law school.

I do not think it would really matter. Unless you are going to transfer to a top five UG. With your GPA all that will really matter is how well you perform on the LSAT. Good luck.

Keep your good GPA, get some good experience, own the LSAT, go to Yale
