Wow. Almost as bad as reading about A Serbian Film.

OP: I wouldn't send pictures given the advice of others on this thread. I have nothing of substance to post beyond this, but it's the internet, so that doesn't matter.

On the reeaaaalllly small chance that OP is not a flame, don't attach your picture to your application or resume... ever. Resumes with pictures on it only elicit laughs and eyerolls from those that receive it regardless of the attractiveness of the person featured in the photo.

If you really are indeed a fairly attractive female, as you assume your picture will show, an admissions officer is sure to notice this.

And if he/she is smart enough, which you could bet on, he/she may think you are trying to pull an Elle Woods.

Congrats, that's how men see every woman with cleavage. Which is why a great set of boobs can make a turtleneck 6 into a v-neck 8.

... I'm guessing you're either a woman, and kind of bitter about something, or not from the same part of the country I am.

But yeah, save the hotness for the interviews where it actually matters. Whether or not she's actually hot, she's confident she's hot, which is the whole thing. Confidence lands jobs. :o

I'm not trying to be a bitch here, but is this a serious question?

amorfati wrote:No offense to OP, and not to seem rude, but I can't believe that even a few people are actually entertaining this idea. IMO, attaching a pic is an AWFUL idea.

OP, I'm pretty sure you really are a lovely person, but drawing attention to the fact that you think you're attractive and should therefore get a hotness bump doesn't exactly scream good values. Yes, on some level I'm sure law schools could benefit from having an attractive student body (in terms of job placement, etc). But as a conscious decision-making group, I highly doubt adcomms will act on those impulses.

Of course, it would be a different thing in an interview, where perhaps they could subconsciously give that alternate/broader meaning to your hotness (finding you "lawyerly," "confident," "charming," etc). But attaching a picture adds little value to your application, and will probably make you seem vain.
If I could find the words in my drunken/hungover/sleepless state, this is definitely what I would have said. +1

Don't do this when applying for jobs. Many corporations will auto toss all applications with pictures because they do not want to be accused of rejecting anyone based upon visible characteristics such as race, gender, religion, and sexual orientation.

You should attach a picture. You'll look like a total idiot and increase my chances of getting in at the schools you apply to by eliminating competition.

Seriously? Are there guys who deny this premise? Why do you think breast implants are so popular?
