Question about hours worked as undergraduate

I have a question about the applications, and any advice is welcome. Many applications ask you to say how many hours you worked weekly while employed junior year, senior years, etc.

My problem, I worked a 40 hour job one semester senior year, and 0 hours another. Similar situation for other years. What do I do?

Also, do they want year 1, year 2, or are they asking this question based on hour many credits you had, and therefore your university designation, (freshman, sophomore, etc.)

Thanks! I'm just unsure how to approach this.

I asked about a similar problem awhile ago; my situation is that all the college jobs I worked were on-demand with few set hours, so I could technically work 0 hours one week and 30 hours another. The response I got was that I could do averaging or put a range, and also that it wouldn't be a problem that would sink my app.

All that said, if you're really concerned about any apps in particular, you should call the admissions offices and ask.
