Is it possible to get into a law school that has low admission standards, work my butt off, and transfer to a better school?

Yes, but it's risky and not always possible. The better bet is to work your butt off now studying for the LSAT and raise your score.
The LSAT is the best time-investment: reward ratio you will ever have in your entire life. Study as if your future depended on it

Just sayin: If the best you can do on the LSAT is a 134 do you really think you could be relatively competitive at any decent law school?

That is under the 5th %
Man, that is awful. Retake for sure, and know all the types of questions that will be on there. You could almost do better with just a month of study, in fact I am positive you could.
But, everyone on this site is going to recommend you study for 4 months or so, hours a week, learning the different game types across all the sections. And remember to guess the obvious answers, LSAC is not trying to trick you. GL!

you do realize that a 134 is more common than a 170?
why would somebody troll this? i think it would be very funny if OP got effective study help, and scored in the 170s, and then see how their app plays out. adcoms would be very confused.

All of them "accept" applicants with any LSAT score; they're so darn politically correct these days. (and afraid of lawsuits, if you ask me - pussies) In any case, that doesn't mean you'll get in though. Yale, for example, typically allows only unnatractive girls and virgin guys who like the show "Glee."

lol i bet they'd say something like, "we consider many factors when we look for an applicant to create a well balanced and diversified entering class." i don't know if it's politically correct as much as it is bad business to say otherwise. that is more application $, and more selectivity.
