Do they require work experience? Will median grades get you into an LLM?

Most llm programs are pretty easy to get into. Median grades from a T30 or so school will probably do it.

Some LLM programs require top 25% & , for some LLM tax, a solid backgroud in tax law courses. Many LLM programs, in comparative law for example, are restricted to applicants with foreign law degrees. Competitive LLM tax programs include NYU, Georgetown & Florida.

The GULC LLM only requires that you have taken tax I. The rank necessary depends on the school you went to. For example, GULC JD's are autoadmits to the GULC tax llm program.

Check NYU's website. I believe that it offers clear guidelines.
