Need Help! Reapplying to a school already admitted to

Post by jkgott » Tue Dec 21, 2010 7:24 pm

I applied to a few law schools last cycle but decided not to go to take some time off and work. In the meantime, I re-took the LSAT and am now reapplying. I am going to apply to a school I got in to last cycle but did not attend. Should I write an addendum saying why I didn't attend? They have an optional Why X essay that I did not write the first time. Should I write it now and explain there? Or should I just go ahead and apply. It is somewhat of a safety for me so they may see through an addendum, especially considering I re-took the LSAT. Any advice?

I would write a small addendum saying you couldn't attend last year due to personal/financial reasons.

Definitely write something, whether it be a Why X or an addendum, considering you will probably get YP'ed if you don't.
