Worth Writing an Addendum?

I am reapplying to schools this cycle with a higher LSAT score and am about to send in my app to a Top 30 school I was rejected from last time around. I have a 169 LSAT and a 3.36 GPA. According to LSN, their LSAT 75th and 26th percentiles are 166 and 162. GPA 75th and 25th are 3.76 and 3.41. So, I'm pretty much a major splitter.
I hadn't really considered writing an addendum about my GPA before, but lately I've been wondering if I should. The problem is, there isn't much of a pattern. I didn't have a horrible freshman year and then start making Dean's List every semester. I did have something personal happen early in my freshman year that I reacted to by engaging in some unhealthy habits. It impacted me for the rest of college because I was reacting to it for my first year, and then my senior year I finally decided to see a counselor which led to a lot of old emotions being dredged up again, which led to me having trouble focusing on studying. I don't really want to write about what happened, but I guess I could touch on it if it would be better than just submitting my transcript with no comment. I could also point to a couple of semesters when I took extra courses that ended up being too much for me to handle. What it really comes down to is that I often stretched myself too thin. I don't plan to do that in law school, but it doesn't seem like a very compelling addendum. HELP!
