LSAC GPA Rounding

Postby InLikeFlint » Sun Dec 19, 2010 2:11 pm

How does the LSAC round your GPA? I'm going to have a 3.897 after this semester, so will it show up as a 3.9 to schools?

mine was 3.95. I think they only round to the hundredths place. However, if that's your school GPA, not sure how LSAC will interpret it since they use their own scale. I know my converted LSAC GPA was 2/100ths of lower than my school's cumulative (3.97 to 3.95....whatever though). For some people the conversion knocks down their GPA a lot, others, it's essentially the same.

Pretty sure it will be a 3.9. Truthfully there isn't a difference between a 3.89 and a 3.9.
