Does LSAC ever permit colleges to email official transcript?

Post by Cailg » Sun Dec 12, 2010 12:38 pm

I realize that the LSAC instructions state that the official transcript along with the signed transcript request form is to be mailed to them. But has anyone ever heard of LSAC permitting the college to electronicaly send/email the official transcript along with a scanned signed transcript request form? Thank you.

I dont think so. They want the official seal along with the signature to ensure that it hasnt been altered in any way.

I would not even think many schools would have such a program set up. The best thing to do is ask early in the year when they are not inundated with requests.
