How long does LSAC/CAS hold an LOR?

Postby ccmbr006 » Sun Dec 05, 2010 10:56 pm

The reason I ask is that I have asked some professors to write letters this year, but I may decide to reapply next year to be earlier in the cycle, and I'd rather not pester them two years running.

At this rate, my apps will be complete in January- which I understand to be a bad thing.

Anybody know?

anything you have in your LSAC account such as: LOR, transcript, etc will stay for at least 5 years from the time you have opened the account with LSAC... and even after that you can take some actions which will extend the time... i still have my LOR's from 4 years ago in my account... hope this helps

That's exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.
