Which GPA do I put on the form?

Post by BollywoodBash » Wed Dec 01, 2010 4:20 am

Hi everyone,

I was going through apps, and some schools want me to write my GPA on their form. Just wondering which GPA they want, the LSAC calculated one, or the one on my college transcript.

Thanks!

I disagree. Most of my applications have said School Attended _____ GPA____
I figured they can EASILY view my LSAT scores along with my transcript and GPA. I went ahead and wrote the graduating GPA rather than LSAC. Then again I wanted to draw attention to the discrepancy between my GPA and LSAC GPA. I also included an addendum, so I really don't think it matters.

+1

If there is a difference I think they usually want your transcript GPA from your degree granting institution. You should read the wording carefully though.
