Anyone looking to enroll in Fall 2013?
I am sorry if there has already been a thread created.
I am a sophomore in undergrad, and will graduate in Spring 2013, and will be applying Fall 2012.
I plan on taking the LSAT during the Spring and Fall of 2012. Is 4-6 months of prep for the LSAT adequate?
Also, does anything else really matter besides GPA/LSAT score? Or is all of that "separate yourself from the pack" stuff like internships, community service just bullshit?
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
P.S. I plan on shooting for Top 14's, but am also interested in BC, BU, Miami, San Diego.

Do just two things:
1) Kill UG, with as close to a 4.0 as you can get.
2) Prep like nuts for the LSAT, and get as close to a 180 as you can get.
Everything else as far as you should be concerned can burn.
Internships, leadership stuff, most softs are marginal, save for curing cancer, winning a nobel, etc. (only stereotype because pretty accurate). If you are depending on the margins to get in, your are most likely out.
If it comes down to trading off GPA for extra curricular activities or vice versa, lose the extras, and take the higher GPA and LSAT.
Draw up your list of schools (including T-14) according to where you want to practice. Only HYS are truely national. Good luck kid!

1) Maximize GPA. Fluff classes, non-major classes, CC classes, online classes, doesn't matter.
2) Maximize LSAT.
3) ????
4) Profit!

I'm in the same boat as you, although a little skewed. I'm technically a Freshman, however I'll be a Sophomore after this term and I'll be taking some courses over summer term to pump myself up to Junior status going into next fall.
I'm thinking 100 level Communication and Sociology classes. Avoiding 2nd languages. Already bought the Powerscore Bibles.

Shooting for the T14, obviously.
Outside of that, UCLA and USC are very appealing.
