I'm taking it that you don't gamble? You know what, never mind, you're absolutely right. Let's just tell the guy that there is absolutely nothing he can do to get into YHS. Let's not even bother telling the guy what he'd need to do to build as strong an app as possible, what areas to focus on to maximize his chances at getting in. I mean, no one's ever beaten the odds and gotten into a school that they had no chance at, and certainly no one has ever won the lottery.
There is nothing this guy can do to get YHS.
Aren't you the clever little one.

Are you advocating gambling?

False. Maybe a long shot, but definitely a shot.

He also lies about personal statements not narrating -- if anywhere, a good PS can open doors at Boalt that numbers won't.

Good luck, OP.

Wow, wasn't expecting all the great responses. Seems like the consensus is a no for T3 but i'll throw an app in anyway next cycle and have an update.

That video was annoying but do you know if that scrawny dude was the guy benching 495? If so I have to say I'm impressed -- I'm way bigger and would probably die if I tried to do that without the spot.

@OP: It can help because you have overcome a pretty strong obstacle and most people at professional schools come from upper middle class backgrounds. Enough to get you into HYS? Probably not but you experiences color your GPA in a different light that LSP won't capture. I can honestly say that a 4.0 GPA from a recluse doesn't impress me as much as a 3.5 from someone who had significant work/sports obligations.
