"Went Complete?"

Post by eternallearner » Sun Nov 14, 2010 10:56 pm

Recently I submitted my application to LSAC. W/in a few minutes (30 min most), LSAC tells me that my file is complete.

On this forum people talk about being "complete." Are they talking about this complete or is there another complete? Also, people have mentioned "status check." Where can I find that? I have no idea what people are talking about.

Thank you for your help!

School will send you an e-mail sometime in the future with a status checker. When the status checker says you are "complete" at the school, they have all files they need and will review it some time, once again, in the future.

Complete typically means when the law school processes everything and has verified that everything you need in your application is there and is ready to be reviewed. There is usually a few days time from when it leaves LSAC and when it gets to the school and, depending on the school, more time before they process it.Like Deuce said most places will email you when it is complete or issue you a status checker.
