Submitting extra essays when not asked

Postby silly101 » Sat Nov 13, 2010 4:59 pm

I know this is probably answered somewhere, but can we submit extra info when the school doesn't give the option of submitting extra stuff?

like Virginia only asks for PS

I have a DS & Addendum that I could potentially submit

The last line of the Personal Statement box for UVA also says:

"Should you wish to address other aspects of yourself or your application outside of the personal statement, you may attach addenda."

Attach away imo.

This.

A "Why UVA" essay can't hurt either. (assuming you can articulate some legit reasons for applying to UVA)
