Resend resume?
I mistyped the number of semesters I was on the Dean's List (I put one too few) on my resume for one of my applications. Is it worth sending in an updated resume, or am I being neurotic?

Won't hurt. I did the same just a few days ago with another law school for my resume by just emailing them and they were pretty nice about it.

It wouldn't be counterproductive to email the school saying, "Hey guys. I just went complete last night, but here's another resume for you. I promise I can actually count."?

I wouldn't worry about it. Dean's list is solely GPA based anyway right, and your GPA speaks for itself.

I left out "interests" on one of mine, hopefully will be able to resubmit it...didn't realize until I read around this forum that most people include it : (

Do schools get an actual copy of your transcript, or just LSAC's version? If they just get the LSAC one in the original report, I probably won't bother.

I specifically didn't include that. I always thought it was corny.silverlake33 wrote:I left out "interests" on one of mine, hopefully will be able to resubmit it...didn't realize until I read around this forum that most people include it : (

Hot shit. I won't worry about it then, as the LSAC version just lists "academic honors" and the given academic year.arism87 wrote:Pretty sure just LSACFlamingCow wrote:Do schools get an actual copy of your transcript, or just LSAC's version? I thought so too, but I would guess that it's a "fun" thing for the ad-coms to read and can't hurt.FlamingCow wrote:I specifically didn't include that. I would never do it on a resume for a job app, though.

After further thought- I guess they have to to see your course load.plenipotentiary wrote:Nope, pretty sure they get an actual copy.arism87 wrote:Pretty sure just LSACFlamingCow wrote:Do schools get an actual copy of your transcript, or just LSAC's version? Still wouldn't worry about it though, I can't see adcomms counting how many times you made Dean's list, idk.
