Waitlist and June LSAT

Post by whymeohgodno » Fri Nov 12, 2010 1:40 am

I'm applying this cycle but I'm wondering if I get waitlisted at some of my target schools (Where I'm at/above median for both), is it possible for me to take the June LSAT and get in off the waitlist if my score improves?

It certainly can't hurt, but at that point they are past deposit deadlines and your odds will be bleak at best, regardless of an improved LSAT. Even if you are overqualified, a full class is a full class.

It would help your chances of getting a call in late August telling you that you have 24 hours to decide though :P

This is exactly what I did and I got off the UT/Vanderbilt/USC waitlists immediately. Granted I went up 5 points, but if you underperformed and know you can do better, go for it. Oh, and it was my 4th try.

Nice! Where did you end up going?
