Why is it no longer the case? What were your priorities?
This would make me feel like you were being lazy and that you didn't have your priorities in order yet because you should have explained more. But maybe you're right and other aspects of your app will make up for this.

Useless.
The only GPA addendum worth writing is one that makes you look good by making your GPA look impressive under the circumstances. For instance, if you were a single parent working full time and you got hit by a car before finals but pulled a 3.3 anyway, write an addendum. Otherwise you're wasting your time.

Ok great, I dont think I should write one then. I guess I was viewing it too much as an "explanation" as opposed to "a reason."
Would your opinion be the same for the LSAT 170-178. Several schools seem to want explanations. and "nervous"/ might not suffice.

I don't think that's necessarily a negative addendum. Working over 40 hours and going to school is pretty solid - the information might be in your application, but it will fill in the story for the admissions committee. Anything that rounds out the story for them without sounding whiny or bitchy is good.
Your parents are dead to you now, forget about the perspective/military bit.
