LSAC LOR required/recommended/accepted

Post by cpsuttle » Tue Nov 09, 2010 11:07 am

Okay, I'm more of a reader on this site than a posting person so please don't harp on me for etiquette! From what I've read some people can be pretty anal ;)

on LSAC when you are assigning LORs to different schools, the schools have a required/recommended/accepted amount.

Baylor's, for example, has 1 required, 1 recommended, but 3 accepted.
I have 3 pretty good LOR. Should I be sending one, two, or all three? Is it a nuisance to send a larger amount than the recommended?

Thanks and good luck :)

don't send more than 2. it's always worth having an extra lor that you can send if you're waitlisted at a top choice school. if you send 2, ensure that they are high quality letters that really say what adcoms want to hear. don't waste their time with a form letter.
