Transcript Question

So I sent in my transcript for the first time about a week ago.

LSAC still hasn't received it.

However I need to send in an updated one because I declared a 2nd major about 2 weeks ago and the transcript I sent in only had 1 major on it (and on CRS it says I have 2 majors).

For the 2nd transcript I'm sending it do I check the box that says "Updated copy" or "Corrected copy" on the transcript request form?

You're sending an updated copy, right? So corrected copy couldn't possibly be the box to check.

Re-reading your post, maybe I was wrong.

I originally sent in my transcript in the middle of my senior year. LSAC processed it, and that was the transcript on file. I didn't end up applying that cycle, so this year I sent an "updated" transcript--that is, a transcript that had the rest of my senior year grades on it (and degree conferred).

I think of "updated transcript" as there being something new on the transcript. Corrected transcript would mean that it's basically the same transcript--same grades, same semester--but something had to be corrected. "Corrected" seems to apply to your situation more.

But you could also just call LSAC tomorrow.

It's an update. Nothing was "wrong" the first time so you're not "correcting" anything. You're updating the fact that you have two majors instead of one now.

I don't think it really matters that much but there you go.

It doesn't matter. LSAC will process your transcript even without the cover sheet.
