LSDAS Recommender Prefix Field?

Postby Ascend » Sun Oct 31, 2010 2:22 pm

Couldn't seem to find much info about this anywhere. Should is always be left blank? For a judge, should it be "The Honorable" or "Honorable" or "Judge?" What about if the Judge is also your prof, should it then say "Professor?"

Also, for professors, is best to put "Professor" or "Dr.?"

I understand that it probably doesn't make any different to schools or LSAC, but I'm looking at it from the standpoint of making sure my recommenders don't feel as if I neglected to acknowledge their status.

I went with the blanket term "Professor" and when they write it they can make corrections on the form.
