Got one from UST-Minneapolis & also, like someone stated, Hofstra. And I got that weird e-mail from FAMU also. No thanks.

Do schools happen to keep a list of people they send fee-waivers too, and then check it against people who actually end up applying? Because it would be awesome if a merit fee-waiver could be seen as a "boost" for an application.

Lolno. A fee waiver doesn't necessarily mean you're a good applicant. You might be, and they might want you to apply. But maybe they just want to seem more selective by rejecting your application.

Also, I've received fee waivers after already applying to certain schools- they just keep sending them if they see new information about you- like a new LSAT score.

Technically they should see that your fee was waived however, since you didn't send any money with your app. Won't help you though.

In addition to all of the others mentioned, I just got a waiver from Northwestern via email.

Cardozo, Drexel, Penn State, Northwestern, and Florida A&M. All by email this morning.

Anyone check to see if Penn, Columbia, Cornell, or Chicago came out today?

For what it's worth, Northwestern and Cardozo via email.

I checked Columbia and Cornell for hiddens (along with G'Town and Texas), and came up empty. Though it is only 3:30 on the east coast, so they could come out via email or hidden later on in the day.

Damn, didn't get one from IU-Bloomington. I e-mailed them too and never heard back from them.

Felt like I was a decent candidate for them too: 3.25 GPA/161 LSAT

On a side note, if you e-mail IU-Indy they will give you one.

How are you guys checking hidden fee waivers? Either I haven't gotten any yet, or I am not looking in the correct places.

I just checked UChicago, and I got a hidden waiver. It was my first time checking, so I have no idea when I got it.

Are you guys October takers? If so, I'll add to the list.

I'm an October LSAT'er and I got Chicago [hidden], Northwestern [email], McGeorge [hidden], Gonzaga [email], and Hofstra [email] today.

I also got a weird UMinn "Hey, apply!" but no waiver.

Me neither :( Anyone know if these hidden waivers come out in batches or if it's a definite no-go if we don't have one by now?

It really is. And Columbia and Penn are like those elusive amorphously-shaped packages you are just dying to open, but your parents are being joy-kills.
