Should I have an addendum if I have a year gap in employment

I basically took a year off to travel and study for the LSAT and didn't have a job. I am several years out of college so I have work history and then I have a year gap and then more work. Should I address this with an addendum?

No.

But you can add an addendum of what you've been doing for the last year.
