Submitting apps without December scores??

Post by rso11 » Tue Oct 26, 2010 9:47 pm

I suspect someone's already asked this; if anyone knows the link, please share.

If you're taking the Dec test, what's the deal with having the rest of your application already submitted? I've read that it's a good idea to do this b/c when the score comes out your file can get updated ASAP. But does that mean that schools will look at your app with another score (i.e. I just took Oct) and just stick it in a 'maybe' pile until the Dec scores come out if the rest of your stuff is good? Or is it just better to submit everything in one package with the new (and hopefully better) score? It seems to me that the second option would be more likely, but I wanted some info about the first part.

If you're registered to take the Dec. LSAT schools won't look at your app at all until that score comes out. You can register for the test, submit your apps, and then when your scores come out in Dec. the schools will then give you a first look.
