It makes sense if it was Michigan. Cooley graduates more people than any other law school in the coutry. Even if half the class goes straight to work at McDonalds and never practices, the other half alone would add more new lawyers per year than the next largest law school graduating class.

Not Michigan. The fact that they are AA women explains it.

There usually aren't many T14 prosecutors because of the poor pay. Every T14 grad I knew there wasn't doing it as a career. They were hired by firms and had to complete like a year of public service work which is like basic training for them.

Dan, I'm clearly missing something here. How is their race relevant?

If anything, I'm surprised that Cooley has many African American students. With URM status contributing to higher placement in law schools, I would think that black students would be able to go to better schools than Cooley even if their grades weren't tremendous.

lol, this thing is great. It doesn't actually beat NYU though, which is obviously wrong. I guess it's because the calculator doesn't include lay prestige, where Cooley obviously beats NYU (cooler name).

This thread is old, as are random posts making fun of Cooley. Yes, they suck, we get it. I award you no points.
