Yikes. Yeah, I'm definitely borderline. I'm over 75% for LSAT and under 25% for GPA--unfortunately I seem to confirm the trend. My only hope is all the 12/21 letter sent people getting in (I obviously don't have a lot to go on at this point).

Plus, the logic of staying "Under Review" when you are deferred for further consideration makes sense to me.

Holy crap, I'm in! Just got the big purple envelope in the mail today.

I was borderline at best, and I was expecting to get deferred to regular decision. I'm beside myself right now.

I submitted 11/9, and was UR from 11/18 till my 12/21 'decision mailed' update.

3.7, 165/170.

Nobody has answered that question, but I'm guessing it's a soft rejection. I'd call them but I'm guessing I wouldn't get a straight answer. Might call anyway.

I didn't think NYU is very big on soft rejections judging from the size of their WL. Columbia is another matter.

I didn't think NYU is very big on soft rejections judging from the size of their WL. Columbia is another matter.

Well, I hope they at least let some deferred people in considering I was just deferred. 11/15 UR to 12/15 UR. Numbers in profile, although I am a three time LSATer, which I believe had a large role in this.

Are any of my deferred mates writing an LOCI. If so, how long is it going to be? Are you sending anything else like additional LORs (I assume we would mail them now?)?
