Have you ever been registered at another law school?

this is probably a really stupid question, but I'm asking it just to make sure:

At what point does "registration" take place? I submitted my deposits to a school, but withdrew before paying full tuition. This means that I was not registered, correct?

This sounds right, but I truly have NO IDEA.

If it were me, I'd call the school I sent the deposit to and ask them whether they ever considered me a "registered" student. They will probably say "No, you are not officially registered until you enroll in classes" or something, but it might be worth the peace of mind.

Last thing I want on my application is for the admission committee to think I'm a Law School drop out, regardless of my conscience attack over a small deposit check. But yeah, I guess you should check with prior school to be sure. Or call up every school you apply to because that's on every application...ew

No, you're not a registered student until you sign up for classes.

You know, register has a meaning like sensory input being interpreted by your brain; thus if you were ever seen, heard, sniffed or tasted (!), touched at another law school; you technically were registered there. I am sorry for the bad news.

I've been wondering the same thing. I don't think you're registered until you actually enroll in classes though.
