I won't cover the should question, but the consensus seems to be that it won't help much if at all. The Latinos who get a boost are PR and Mex.
If you want it to be a boost, the best thing to do is write a DS (if you can show how your ancestry/identity might add to the diversity of the class).

Thanks guys. I am mostly Iranian/American so I have always had to check the white box(middle eastern heritage falls in here). But after going through grad school I got the point that AA really gives certain races an advantage so I messed around on law predictor and it did boost me. I know it sounds wrong but even though I disagree with giving people a boost for their race I want any advantage I can get.
