Why this law school essays
as a few of my apps opened today, I want to get them in right away and a few of them have "why this school" essays with like 20 lines to type on in the app or they say I can add an additional form if necessary. How long should we make these? Is it wise to type some 2 page essay on why I want to attend U of Oregon? Or is it ok just to make a few remarks about the programs I find interesting, faculty, etc...? Thanks!

I say one page double spaced max.
But doesn't necessarily have to reach one whole page.

I agree with this. One page or less should be sufficient.scruffs mcguff wrote:I say one page double spaced max.

I agree. It doesn't have to be long at all.

One more question, instead of starting a new thread. Forgive me if this is the dumbest question asked on TLS to date. But I gotta ask, at the end of the apps they have a signature box-how do we sign them online? When we hit the submit box, does LSAC send the app to the school or how does this work? I just think the whole intermediary process of LSAC is quite silly sometimes

You don't sign - just submit it. There should be a line to the effect of "by signing or electronically transmitting this application" you assert that you are submitting a complete and truthful application.GoBroncos22! wrote:One more question, instead of starting a new thread.
