I reached out to 2 professors from my university, lets call them Professor A and Professor B. Professor A was directly my professor, and Professor B was a professor/department head that I worked for during junior/senior year (I was never a student in his class). I requested that both include a school specific LOR (that being UCLA) and to send it to LSAC. Unfortunately, professor B sent it directly to the school, and it turns out that UCLA requires at most 2 LOR's, and since I have been out of school for 4 years, my intentions were to send an LOR from my current employer and an LOR from Professor A, who unlike Professor B could opine about my abilities as a student (and to later reach out to professor B to complete an evaluation on LSAC).
Any recommendations on how I should communicate to UCLA that the letter they received from professor B should have been sent directly to LSAC and since they only allow 2 letters of rec's, this will not be part of the 2 leters in my application??
I appreciate everyone's advice.

Best bet is to have the professor resend it to LSAC and then attempt to try and deal with UCLA on the side. There is no way you are going to get UCLA to send the letter to LSAC and even if they did LSAC requires that the letter be in a sealed/signed across the seal envelope.

Re: Letter of Recommendation Issue ??
Just to be clear, my intention is not for UCLA to send the letter to LSAC. I just want UCLA to know that the recommender should have sent it directly to LSAC. Since they only allow 2 letters of rec's, and coupled with the fact that I have been out of school for 4 years, I have decided to include a letter from my current employer and professor A (not professor B, since I was not a student of his). I just don't want them to count this letter as one of the 2 letters.

Also, professor B offered to call the school to clear up any issues.

I definitely plan on emailing UCLA. Just wanted to get some insight from people on this site before I do so.
Also, my application isn't even in their hands, so what are the chances that they even kept the letter that he sent...?
