Fordham said "write us a poem"??? Forum

In the dean's interview on TLS
Fordham on the PS: "Tell us a story! What are you passionate about? Whatever excites you… Write us a poem! Fordham appreciates creativity, but don't be weird."

I thought all/most law schools strongly discouraged anything as "weird/creative" as writing a poem...am I wrong?

EDIT: I'm not planning on writing a poem for Fordham but I was sort of shocked to see that response.

Unless you are extremely confident in your poem skills, I would play the safe card and write another dime a dozen PS.
