If you apply in Sept. you'll get a reply quite fast, with or without the PT. I know people who have gotten in already without the PT.

Has anyone successful emailed them and received a PT invite? I plan on submitting this weekend to Duke and would like to know if LS is def in my cards next year.

Thanks
Eh, I have a 3.5 (and a 177) and I didn't get PT either. Maybe Duke just doesn't like me :(

I'm ok with that, though. They sent me a waiver, so I'll take what I can get.

Also, I'm about to send off a fee waiver request. We'll see how it goes.
Did you get a response?

Any have any experience with JD/MA admissions and priority track? will they give a response on the JD portion in 10 days even if they can't on the MA?

You don't need to register for the priority track to here back within the ten days at Duke. I completed on September 2, 2010 and heard back September 9, 2010 :)

I have an inane question, so feel free to mock me. If I went complete 9/20, will I hear back by 9/29 or 9/30 at the latest? I'm inclined to think it's the 29th and the day it went complete counts as a business day, but what do I know!

I'm pretty sure it's 10 business days. So, I think you'll hear by the 1st. (not sure if they count the day you went complete or not).

You are non-PT right? Mine's been ready for a while too, I am not holding my breath for it to happen soon.

List of numbers that have gotten PT so far ITT:
3.87/160 URM, 4.0/166, 3.85/170, 3.95/170, 3.6x/171, 3.8/171, 3.8x/171, 3.62/172, 3.88/172, 4.1/172, 3.6/173, 3.83/176, 3.66/177 URM, 3.9/177

It seems to me that all but the first 2 are numerical auto-admits.

PT and Admit: 3.77/170 (Thought might help since my numbers are lower than those cited above.)

I guess they don't like me? I got no PT love even when I requested, and my file is sitting behind a desk somewhere...

The email from Duke says 10 days, and LSN leads me to believe that it is in fact 10 days (not business days).

I received the acceptance email in 8 days (on a Friday), where 10 days would have been Sunday.

I went complete on 9/20 (PT), and my application has been "Ready for Review" ever since. Since tomorrow makes 10 ten days (not including the day I went complete), I'm really hoping to hear tomorrow...considering giving admissions a call if I don't hear anything tomorrow and ask them what's going on.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
