Thoughts? Looks like this cycle will be a little better than last year, but not much.

You cannot estimate number of applicants from LSAT takers. Many people take the LSAT and then don't apply...or wait a year after taking the LSAT to apply.

This doesn't mean it's going to be a "better" cycle in any form or fashion for the reasons that blowhard gave.

I think it's more of a question of what happened in the last few years that made everyone want to stay out of the job market for a few years...

I htink this is the data you want to show the number of applications is up as well. No recent data, but you can see the trend for Fall 2009

and many people take the LSAT 2-3 times now that scores are no longer averaged
