lol That's awesome.Daytukrjabs wrote:I went from 150s to 170s over a period of 2.5 yrs. (For those wondering, you can waive the 3 LSAT limit if a school writes a letter to LSAC on your behalf.)

Wouldn't the school see that you took it seven times? I guess persistence can be a + for the softs.

Are you worried that you won't be as smart as your peers?

What was your mindset when you were takng so many LSATs? Did you hit a plateau and try to push through it? Or did you never hit a peak and just decide to keep going?

Did you not run out of material when prepping, or did you reuse old material over & over again? Also, I'm wondering if you gradually improved over 7 times, or if your test scores fluctuated.Daytukrjabs wrote:I went from 150s to 170s over a period of 2.5 yrs. But how do you write an addendum for SIX lsats? lolDaytukrjabs wrote:Honestly, I thought so too. The TLS and adcoms in the past have strongly suggested taking no more than 2 LSATs. However, the bottom line is, DO YOU HAVE THE SCORE?acrossthelake wrote:I'm seriously surprised that this didn't hurt the OP in admission cycles.
Adcoms can't assume anything about what happened to your LSATs. Anything could have happened: serious long-term illness, death of a family member, financial struggle etc. But I did write an addendum explaining my situation.

Serious question- was it a consistent upward trajectory in the score, or were there some setbacks?
Care to get any more specific about which school? Maybe PM me? I am genuinely curious.

Pretty sure you are kinda contradicting yourself... if anything, you prove that a 170 is not 'reserved' for anyone.Daytukrjabs wrote:I was going through some personal struggles. But let's face it. The LSAT is a beast of its own. Not everyone is capable of getting a 170+ and it's reserved for the top 1% for a reason. I really had to dig deep and make some serious decisions to keep going until I got the score I believed I could get.flyingpanda wrote:What was your mindset when you were takng so many LSATs? Have you considered a career in teaching the LSAT?
