Does "permanent residency" influence acceptance?

Post by PierceFromCT » Wed Jul 07, 2010 7:00 pm

I work in NYC, but my family lives in CT and RI. Would putting one of those states over another help in acceptance? I'm a splitter with four years work experience, so every little thing helps.

Won't help unless you're applying to public law schools in CT and RI.

Some schools give preference to residents, like UVA. Check with each individual school.
