Haven't made the switch to gmail yet?

...because it auto refreshes, and therefore when you receive a new e-mail you see a (1) in your browser's gmail tab, thus not having to go back to it and refresh constantly. Convenient.

Are you guys actually going to apply to these schools that give you fee waivers? I'm half tempted to apply to all of them just because its free, although admittedly I deleted the Tulsa one already.

I have email on by BB, I keep checking the screen looking for the red star or blinking light.

Depends on the school. Some are not worth the $12 imo.

here's mine so far:
Seton Hall 6/29
Ohio Northern 6/29
Tulsa 6/29
man, I'm upset I didn't get one for Richmond. I actually wouldn't mind applying there but I wouldn't do it without a waiver

My guess is that these schools are sending them to specific LSAT ranges... no fee waiver if you were lower or way too high for them.

Actually I am thinking about it for Richmond... I have nothing against Cincinnati but too far away for me and not really considering Seton Hall, but the fee waiver made me take a look at Richmond and I liked it!

I think your wrong, I would like to think my 171 is way too high for any of these schools and I have received the waivers for all of these so far

Me neither and I've been registered for CRS for 6 months. Do these schools have number ceilings for granting waivers?

I was planning on applying to Cincinnati anyway. My girlfriend goes to UG there. Not sure if I would attend regardless, but I hear they give out a large number of scholarships and they have a dual-degree option with their Information Systems program (I majored in IS in UG, and would like to get an MBA/MS in it) in the business school. So I will definitely be using that waiver. The others...not so sure right now.

Well as one guy mentioned he got a 171 and got all of them so far, I got a 172 and I have as well. Take that for what it's worth.

No. You will prob get them as a 167 would be good for all of these schools. I got all of these emails today.

Fall 2011? Why not Fall 2010...?

Anyway, I took the February 2010 LSAT, applied, withdrew from all my schools because I decided for various reasons to wait a year, and am planning on re-applying this fall (2010). I'm signed up for CRS, but haven't been getting fee waivers, I'm assuming since I got them all last cycle and many schools probably assume that I'm starting school this fall. Should I just email schools I'm interested in to try to get waivers?

yoitsmebenny wrote:I received an email from the University of Cincinnati this morning and figured we could get a thread going of what schools are giving out application fee waivers and when.

Please note this is for applicants who will be applying for admission to start school in Fall 2011.

Without further ado, let's begin the list.

University of Cincinnati - 6/29/10
Ohio Northern University - 6/29/10
University of Richmond - 6/26/10
Seton Hall University - 6/26/10
University of Tulsa - 6/29/10

Can you please also post your LSAT score so that we know what the school target range for sending these e-mails?

If you took the LSAT and are signed up for CRS, you should get them.

A down side of CRS is that you will be bombarded with those e-mails from the schools that you don't even care.

As I said above, I got Cincinnati and Seton Hall, but not Richmond. I am not applying to any of those, though.

3.5/177.

Maybe Richmond is a regional thing. I got all the fee waivers except those as well.
