I didn't get Duke, either. I don't really want to go there, but it still stings a little.
Also, the hidden fee waiver was nice, but I'd also like the viewbook and note from Michigan. It's one of my top picks. I would like a little book to page through to confirm why I like it so much.
Maybe hidden fee waiver indicates they will be contacting you via snail mail? Ive had hidden ones from UMich and NYU of the ones I have checked so far.
Also, no Columbia.

That's so weird twin. Maybe your numbers are too good? Since your GPA is higher than mine?
I, for one, don't understand the magic formula of fee waivers. I just hope this isn't a bad sign that they won't accept meeee. The two C's </3 me ;;

Boo, no Columbia hidden waiver for me - 169 / 3.83.
I was waiting to submit that application until I knew when their waivers were going out and if I'd get one. Looks like I'll be submitting right now as the Columbia waiver fairy passed me by.

Got a Michigan waiver today with a whole packet of URM information. The thing is is that my numbers are much lower than their median, what does this mean? I'm thinking about EDing so this is kind of a big deal. Any advice?

If I were to get into both NYU and CLS, I would def give an extra + to NYU, simply for understanding how to use CRS and being consistent with waivers. /rant

Grr I keep checking and still no hidden waiver ;___;
Do you guys think they give them away by request/is it worth a shot?

I'm a bit of a 'long time listener, first time caller' on TLS, but anyways, I just got the hidden Columbia waiver and I'm a major splitter at 3.1/176. I don't know what the admissions folks are doing there, but my apologies to anyone with better grades and an actual shot who didn't get one. Too bad trading isn't allowed, as I'd be happy to swap a Georgetown.

What do you mean by a "hidden Waiver?" What is a hidden waiver?

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Does anyone have any idea if schools do multiple rounds of fee waivers? My transcript was just processed by LSAC today, and I think its absence may have prevented me from getting waivers from some schools that have already offered some (Chicago, Michigan, NYU, Northwestern)... anyone know if there's any chance these schools give CRS another run-through?
Thanks in advance.

+1 to this question - I have very similar numbers as feomateo, and the UChicago/Cornell round went out before I had my transcript in and I didn't get them ... since the transcript was processed, I got NYU, UMich and NW...
if only I would have thought of submitting my transcript earlier

I e-mailed Notre Dame requesting a fee waiver and I got this response. According to this, some schools do conduct multiple rounds.
Thank you for your interest in Notre Dame Law School. Information on how we distribute fee waivers is on our website.
To be eligible to receive a merit-based waiver, you must participate in CRS, have at least one LSAT on file, have transcripts on file, and must be applying for the Fall 2011 term. Our CRS searches are updated on a monthly basis.
If you wish to be added to our mailing list, please visit our website, then click on the Request Info in the upper right corner. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact our office.

Columbia, nice! Still disappointed that Chicago doesn't love me, but that's ok.
