I haven't been keeping up to date on this. In the past week I've gotten Tulane, Duke, Quinnipiac, and OCU.

So even though I am super happy that I got a hidden fee waiver from Michigan, I'm a little sad that nothing has come in the mail from them -- other people have reported getting packages, yes? I want them to love me the most.

I'll just keep telling myself it will arrive today...or tomorrow...or eventually.

I didn't get one! They told me no when I asked, and I thought I had a fairly decent change at getting in (3.3/163)... I guess not!

Just because you don't get a fee waiver doesn't mean you dont have a chance of acceptance.

I have been past up on pretty much every feewaiver, including tulane, minus UVA and few I self solicited. I chalk that up to my sub-3.0 GPA and the fact that I didn't have my CRS cycle set to 2011 for awhile. However, I feel confident I have a decent shot given my LSAT (although by no means are they safeties for me) at Cornell/Michigan.

I wouldn't let fee waivers discourage you from applying. If you are sincerely interested in attending Tulane, then pay the app fee and apply.

Awww, if I could give you mine I would! I have no intention of applying to Tulane.

(Hidden) Northwestern here, too.

Makes me feel a little better about missing out on NYU.

Me too! I have gotten really excited seeing big envelopes in the mail, but none of them were from Michigan.

Hmm, I got Northwestern, too. I wasn't planning on applying. Maybe I will now. :?

I just e-mailed UCLA, and they said they were doing it next week. Crossing my fingers. Got one for UVA, Duke, Michigan, and Cornell, but so far none of the schools I was planning to apply to anyway. (I have not checked for the hidden NYU waiver - I am paranoid that I will somehow accidently submit the application.)

Although I wish schools would simply come out and say, "Hey, we really like you, so we decided to waive your application fee."

I too was paranoid about accidentally submitting the application, but after following Eskimo's guide, I learned that there was nothing to be worried about.

I encourage you to look. It's quite nice to find a hidden waiver.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
