FWIW, I did the forum sign up trick and it worked for me.Brick_Tamlin wrote:

Haha, thanks. Yeah I remember someone saying a while ago that CRS only lasts for 1 year after registration, and there's no way you can extend the duration... hopefully they were wrong for your sakeBrick_Tamlin wrote: Could just be that the whole making sure CRS is active thing didn't work out, I'm just gonna get in touch with them. I'm 3.6+/170+ and I didn't get it. No transcript on file though.kazu wrote:My theory is that it's 3.6+ and 170+
There's someone with a 3.5/177 who didn't get one... so it's not just the LSAT

It's funny that a fee waiver obviously given so they can reject me enrages you so.Bildungsroman wrote:msch0i wrote:Duke waiver this morning! Although...I'm sure it was to boost selectivity.
165/3.8
In any case, it may very well be that you haven't received one yet since your transcript isn't on file with LSAC. Anyone can report false GPA ranges to LSAC so they aren't reliable.

this may be speaking because I am in your range....but thats not true. We are reverse splitters and thus you never know who will want us or what school we will get....just look at last years threadmsch0i wrote:It's funny that a fee waiver obviously given so they can reject me enrages you so.Bildungsroman wrote:msch0i wrote:Duke waiver this morning! Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet:
I asked LSAC why I was not getting fee waivers--I got them last cycle (Dec 2009 LSAT). I had my CRS preferences set to "applying for 2010 cycle." I changed my info to "applying for 2011." I did not get a waiver for a week or so, but have since got waivers to Illinois and Duke (w/ PT). So make sure you have your CRS preferences set to the right year!

It seems like everybody has a waiver from Duke... I don't know if it's even worth the 12 bucks...

well thats a bit of a faulty statement. Just because everyone who got a waiver is posting does not mean that everyone has one....self-selected bunch will post my friendkk19131 wrote:It seems like everybody has a waiver from Duke... I don't know if it's even worth the 12 bucks...

You must be one of them.
... nevertheless, looking at the numbers of some of the people who have gotten waivers, it seems like a stunt for the school to increase its selectivity.

I hope my fee waiver isn't an "exclusive number booster" for them... had a target on Duke with my 168 3.88...

What/Where is this LSAC forum. Sorry, I'm lost.acrossthelake wrote:Registering for an LSAC forum. Seems like ppl who didn't do that are still getting it, so maybe Duke just used CRS properly.kk19131 wrote:Forum trick?acrossthelake wrote:So for those who weren't receiving stuff previously...do we think it's the forum trick?
