This is my first cycle, and I requested one from Georgetown and got it, 173/3.8x. Waiting to hear back from UVA.
Haven't heard anything from Cornell

Put in fee waiver requests to BU and WUSTL this morning. I figure since the semester has started and admissions isn't going crazy with the waitlists anymore, it'd be a good time to start sending out requests
Anyone have luck with any CA schools? Solicited or unsolicited?

For those who are requesting fee waivers, are you doing by filling out each school's forms, or by simply emailing and asking for one? Not really sure what the standard is here.

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
I'm just sending e-mails. The only specific forms I've seen so far are for need-based waivers. I haven't received any responses from schools stating that I need to fill out a form for a merit-based fee waiver.granger wrote:For those who are requesting fee waivers, are you doing by filling out each school's forms, or by simply emailing and asking for one? Nothing unsolicited from California schools as of yet, at least for me.msch0i wrote:Put in fee waiver requests to BU and WUSTL this morning. I figure since the semester has started and admissions isn't going crazy with the waitlists anymore, it'd be a good time to start sending out requests

Was told by Cornell admissions to wait for CRS search. Just FYI if any of you guys who didn't get the snail mail fee waiver were planning on asking. Or maybe they just don't like me!

I received one from BU by request. I got it a day after I sent the request.Calla Lily wrote:I only got the viewbook from Cornell, too. No fee waiver paragraph and had the indent error.
Also- I e-mailed BU and requested a fee waiver on Wednesday or Thursday of last week and haven't heard anything back yet. I thought someone on here had gotten one by request, so I was just checking when that person heard back. Thanks!
I just received the Cornell waiver, so they must still coming in the mail. As a subtle touch they added a diversity brochure to my packet, presumably to remind me why I was getting a waiver despite my LSAT

Haha, oh Cornell. Still nothing from them over here on the west coast though.saito816 wrote:I received one from BU by request. I got it a day after I sent the request.Calla Lily wrote:I only got the viewbook from Cornell, too. No fee waiver paragraph and had the indent error.

I have nothing in Ohio. I'm beginning to think that they don't love me

Change your mailing address to my house and I will manage all your fee waivers, and maybe steal one or two .kazu wrote:Well currently I'm not in the States, and I'm going to be here for a while so that's what my mailing address is at as well.Knockglock wrote: Where are you from?

I called Cornell and they told me it should be free to apply in October. Does that mean they are waiving everyone's fees?

I can't imagine that. Did you give them your numbers or anything before they said that?somedaycrazy wrote:I called Cornell and they told me it should be free to apply in October. Does that mean they are waiving everyone's fees?
Edit: Actually, you called them.....you answer the question, lol.

Nope, I didn't give them any numbers. The lady said to simply call back in October if for some reason LSAC.org tries to charge me.

Just the viewbook... meh. Although I'm pretty sure I get one since I got an LSAC waiver, it'd be nice to be lovedKnockglock wrote:viewbook + fee waiver or just viewbook?Ildeuce wrote:Just got my Cornell packet... guess the snail mail from Ithaca to Florida is pretty slow
