So far I've gotten them from Seton Hall, George Mason, and Cincinnati
Actually, same here. It was an "invitation to apply" so that's not a waiver.

I only got the informative upon further review.

Did you get the waiver or just a form for requesting it when you apply?

Seton Hall 6/29
George Mason 7/1 (by U.S. mail)
Minnesota 7/7

I got the exact same as you, also 167 and live in CT.

The George Mason one was very aesthetically pleasing. It lives on my fridge now.

Did you just reply to the jdadmissions email? Would you mind sharing about what you said. Like, did you say anything about cost being an issue?

Yeah I got that. The fee waiver was nice, but I don't want the newsletter unless I actually apply.

I just replied and talked about how excited I was to hear from them, how I was hoping to apply, etc. Then I asked if they would be willing to provide a fee waiver, thanked them for any assistance they could provide /email.

By the way, and this might be a question that's been answered before, do fee waivers mean anything? Does it mean that the school has interest in you or do they just send them out to whoever is registered through CRS?

I didn't use the search function so if it's been asked and answered before go ahead and crucify me all you want

I think schools loosely target the range of numbers they want, but I believe they also factor in the states you indicate that you're interested in on the CRS form. There are also conspiracy theories about schools offering fee waivers to applicants they know they won't accept to boost their selectivity stats  I personally haven't gotten any of those, though.

So I guess the answer to that question is a soft yes. Though it doesn't necessarily mean a school won't accept you if you didn't get a fee waiver, and the fact that you received a fee waiver doesn't necessarily guarantee admission.

Damnit I want Georgetown, but nothing here.

3.77/168- Whitey.

Minnesota, Seton Hall, George Mason, Cincinatti, maybe others I completely ignored in addition to all of these but the first.

My #'s are almost identical, just a slightly higher GPA... what're your targets?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
