No, I had an LSAC fee waiver all last cycle and still received fee waivers from all the usuals(all T14 that offer merit waivers plus god knows how many other schools).Ildeuce wrote:I stopped getting fee waivers after my LSAC fee waiver was approved... correlation?thecilent wrote:I have gotten not one fee waiver yet for this cycle.Ildeuce wrote:I haven't gotten a waiver in I dunno how long. I have a decent numbers and I haven't received any fee waivers in a couple of weeks so don't worry about it. I have a feeling the majority will come in late August and September.tkgrrett wrote:No, I had an LSAC fee waiver all last cycle and still received fee waivers from all the usuals(all T14 that offer merit waivers plus god knows how many other schools).Ildeuce wrote:I stopped getting fee waivers after my LSAC fee waiver was approved... correlation?thecilent wrote:I have gotten not one fee waiver yet for this cycle.Ildeuce wrote:I haven't gotten a waiver in I dunno how long. Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
I've sent out a few e-mails. I got fee waivers for:
Pitt
Penn State
Michigan State
The rest were a combination of:
-waivers sent out in the fall
-only need-based waivers
-we contact you if we want to give you waiver (aka: your numbers suck)

Well the problem for this year seems to be that people who took the LSAT last year dont show up on CRS searches. I tried to request consideration for Priority Track at Duke and basically was told that they invite people based on CRS searches and they have limited invites so they dont really do requests.acrossthelake wrote:I took the LSAT last cycle and only got a fee wavier from UVa and a few schools I'd never heard of. None so far this cycle from any schools, so I'm assuming I'll get passed over in Sept too. Why do the other T14s not love me?

No, they havent sent out invites yet but I knew I would have to contact them to even be considered because of the CRS problem. When did you activate your CRS access last cycle?acrossthelake wrote:That's really irritating. Are they already sending out invites? I didn't get much any last year either, though, is the weird thing, when I should've been in their CRS searches last year.tkgrrett wrote:Well the problem for this year seems to be that people who took the LSAT last year dont show up on CRS searches. I got one from Albany a few days ago, I guess on 8/2? Anyway, I got a 153 on the LSATs.
Edit: Darn I forgot I got one from Valpo too, it was last Friday I think, so 7/30.

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
Thats really strange. I have similar numbers to what you have listed in your profile and I received a waiver from most of the T14s that offer them. I think the only one that offers them and didnt give me one was Cornell(altho im not 100% sure they offer them.acrossthelake wrote:

Re: Application Fee Waivers - Fall 2011 Applicants
I think that would depend on how long it has been since you sent the email. If it was 2 weeks ago or something I don't think it would be rude. If it was 2 days then you would probably come off as impatient.Barbie wrote:can someone answer me pls? is it rude to call if email hasnt been responded to?
