i also have been having this problem--i loaded a transcript, called lsac, made sure i was all set up, and still nothing at all.
Have you guys tried the forum trick (registering for an LSAC forum - they're free, and you don't have to actually go). Apparently that works for people who aren't showing up on CRS for LSAC due to early LSATs, etc.
I've been hearing mixed reviews. Some people said they did it and didn't hear from anyone besides Duke.

On an unrelated note, I think Duke has impressed me the most. Priority track, 2 ED's, actually finding people on CRS searches; I like their style.

Forum trick definitely doesn't work. I'm a urm with crs set to 2011 entry and 177/3.66 numbers and I haven't received anything since duke priority track

Similar to everyone else--Duke PT, not much else (Illinois got me too, but that is all). Forum trick and CRS to 2011 were applied.

Rudy - did you read through whole letter?

I received the same package yesterday, and the last paragraph in the letter says: "P.S. We're also waiting your application fee. Why not give us a try?"

Nothing from Cornell today either, blatant anti-Knock and Eskimo trolling.

Huh. I do not have that in my last paragraph, but my letter looks vaguely like it was misprinted as there's no sign off other than "We're very proud of our programs and count ourselves among the handful of schools offering the very best in legal education. We hope you'll agree."

On their bullet list the bullet "Safe, low-key, non-urban..." isn't indented properly.

They're definitely inviting me to apply but don't seem to be waiving the fees. I'll email them and ask for one in a week or two.

I'm in Colorado here, and no fee waiver or viewbook from Cornell for me today. :(

However, did get the snail mail postcard on ED from GWU today, which I suspect is because my transcript is finally processed and complete. Hopefully the fee waivers will now start rolling in.

I just got this too, and my transcripts have been in for a month. I did just register for a forum a few days ago, though. Maybe they were just sending out the next batch.

For the record in this thread: I emailed UVA and WUSTL and asked nicely for waivers, and they both wrote me very polite emails and granted them to me. I will wait for september to ask for some of the other schools on my list that I know I may not get.

I know its early in the game but can someone please post if they've had success emailing either Cornell or G-town for a waiver? (and #s!)

Thanks :)

EDIT: I see that someone renewed one from G-town but what about someone who didn't have one from last year?

I emailed Georgetown asking for one and got denied. 3.4/172

I only got the viewbook from Cornell, too. No fee waiver paragraph and had the indent error.

Also- I e-mailed BU and requested a fee waiver on Wednesday or Thursday of last week and haven't heard anything back yet. I thought someone on here had gotten one by request, so I was just checking when that person heard back. Thanks!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
