Personally, I'm terrified. (I can probably thank this forum for that)

Get a grip. It's law school, you're not being shipped off to war.

No, not war, but quite possibly a lifetime of destitution. At least, that's what I've gathered from reading far too much TLS. :|

I feel like I'm already dead inside.

-Going on a 7 day vacation tomorrow in Miami FL,
-Subsequently going on a 3 day camping trip followed by a roadtrip to NYC which will include a broadway show.
-$200 shopping spree before law school

But the impending doom of 1L is keeping me from getting excited about all this fun stuff.

it's been in the mid 90s with the humidity at 90% down here in miami; bring lots of light clothing and be prepared to see lots of sexy women prancing around half naked. ahh, i love my life.

It depends on the school. If you go to a school where the profs stick religiously to the Socratic method, it's war.

I plan on not only surviving the Socratic War but also fucking the dean's wife without getting caught and then killing him and becoming the dean myself. Beats the hell out of being a shepherd.

A little bit of both because I'm worried about my fixed income once I start school. I've been spending my summer looking for a benefactor or a sugar daddy.
So little time.

TITCR... I was uptight starting early this summer and 10 mins into class I realized it is no different than an intensive poli sci seminar... only it's for every class you will ever take for this damned degree.
