Apply in Oct. with 3.7 or Dec. with 3.75?

Post by vale1rd » Wed Jun 09, 2010 10:51 pm

I plan on beginning the application process this fall and am unsure if it would be better to apply early with a 3.7 or wait until December when grades are out and have a 3.75? I guess I am just wondering if this .05 difference in my GPA will offset the advantage of applying early?

You don't know for sure that you'll have a 3.75.

Apply early, and update your transcripts when the time comes. /thread.

I would say that the early advantage outweighs .05 GPA increase.

Apply early. If you get great grades, send them as an update. They're more than likely going to want to know about your fall grades anyhow.
