Here's the deal, I'm going to be a senior undergrad this coming year. My current GPA is a 3.318 and I was planning on applying as soon as schools start accepting aps (Sept/Oct). If I wait until the end of December I will have another semester under my belt and would be able to bring my GPA up to a 3.4.
I'm not looking for top schools, I live in CT so UConn is tempting and William and Mary is my "reach".
Would I be better off applying in Sept/Oct and receiving the benefit from applying early in the cycle or would it be best if I held off on applications until late december and applied with a GPA that is .1 higher?
Any comments are appreciated!!

This. At 165 3.3, you're in at UConn anyway. W&M won't auto-reject you

How exactly does that work, do I just send LSAC an updated transcript? Also will some schools have already decided on my ap by december?

Yea send in an updated transcript. Some schools will, but usually only to admit you, or reject you if you aren't even close. I doubt a school would reject a 3.3 but admit a 3.4.

This is what you must do!!
You have a much better chance of getting in if you apply early AND bring your grades up rather than applying late in the cycle when many people have already been accepted.

TITCR. However, fall semester transcripts likely won't be processed until early January, which isn't early in the cycle any more.
