GRE scores

I am thinking of going for a joint degree. I'll be applying for a MA program at a T-20 school in the fall, looking at a philosophy program. I kicked ass on the Quant section today but got a 620 on the Verbal. I should have prepped more. Should I retaake. How do schools look at retakes for GPA? Is it like law school where they only care about your highest score?
